Women’s Mental Health & Well-Being
You Carry So Much.
You Deserve Support Too.
Many women experience pressure to balance caregiving, work, personal relationships, and the expectations of others — often all at once. When things become overwhelming, the instinct is frequently to push through, minimize, or feel guilty for needing support at all.
At Toriven™, your story matters. Our women's mental health program is warm, validating, and designed around how women actually experience stress, burnout, anxiety, trauma, and life's transitions — not a generic template.

You Don't Need to Hit a Wall Before Reaching Out
These are real, everyday signs that support could help — not a list of diagnoses, and not a measure of how "bad" things are.
Daily life feels heavier than it should
Tasks that used to feel manageable now feel like enormous effort. You’re getting through the day — but it’s costing you more than it used to.
Sleep is disrupted or unreliable
Falling asleep is hard. Staying asleep is harder. Or you sleep and wake up exhausted. Your nervous system is telling you something.
You feel irritable, on edge, or emotionally reactive
Small things feel too big. You snap and then feel guilty. The emotional regulation that used to come naturally now takes everything you have.
You've lost interest or connection to things you enjoyed
Hobbies, relationships, or activities that once brought joy now feel flat or distant. This loss of spark is worth paying attention to.
Your body is carrying what your mind is holding
Headaches, fatigue, digestive issues, muscle tension, low immunity. The body often expresses what we don’t have space to process emotionally.
You feel alone, even when surrounded by people
You’re present for everyone — but no one really sees how you’re doing. That loneliness within connection is one of the most common experiences women describe.
You're questioning who you are or what you want
Identity shifts at different life stages — career, motherhood, relationships, aging — can leave women feeling unmoored. This is more common than it seems, and it deserves real support.
You're functioning — but not thriving
You show up. You manage. But there’s a version of yourself you remember — or imagine — that felt lighter, more present, more you. That gap matters.
If even one of these resonates, support is appropriate. You don’t need a crisis, a diagnosis, or a full explanation of what you’re feeling. You can start with a free, no-pressure conversation to explore whether care feels right for you.
What Makes This Space Different
Care that sees the whole person — not just the presenting symptoms.
Warm, Non-Clinical From the Start
Our program is designed to feel like talking to someone who genuinely understands — not a clinical intake process. You set the tone. You decide what to share and when.
Complete Confidentiality
Your sessions, your story, and your records are fully protected under PHIPA. No one — not your employer, your partner, your family — has access unless you choose to share.
Matched to the Right Clinician
We match you with a clinician whose training, approach, and experience align with what you’re navigating. Services are provided by regulated mental health professionals — credentials are clearly listed during the booking process.
Evidence-Based, Adapted for Women
CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches — selected and adapted based on how women actually experience and process stress, trauma, and change.
Flexible Scheduling
Evening and weekend availability. Sessions that fit around the demands of your life — not the other way around.
Therapy and Medical, Together
When multiple types of support are appropriate, our regulated clinicians collaborate and coordinate your care so you don’t have to manage it yourself.
Your first conversation is simply that — a conversation. No forms, no assessments, no commitment at this stage. Just an opportunity to ask questions, understand your options, and see whether support feels right for you.

Support for Where You Are Right Now
Women's mental health needs shift across life stages. Our program is designed to meet you wherever you are.
Early Adulthood & Identity
Navigating career pressure, relationship beginnings, self-worth, anxiety, and figuring out who you are outside of others’ expectations.
Pregnancy, Postpartum & Motherhood
Perinatal anxiety, postpartum depression, identity shifts, fertility challenges, the emotional weight of early motherhood, and balancing care for a child with care for yourself.
Career, Leadership & Perfectionism
Workplace stress, leadership pressure, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and the particular weight of being held to a higher standard — while holding yourself to a higher one still.
Perimenopause & Life Stage Transitions
Emotional support during hormonal life stages such as perimenopause or menopause — including mood changes, anxiety, sleep disruption, and identity shifts — is real, valid care. Our clinicians take these experiences seriously and do not dismiss them.
Relationships, Separation & Divorce
Relationship stress, emotional disconnection, breakdown, co-parenting after separation, and the process of rebuilding your sense of self and what comes next.
Caregiving, Aging Parents & the Sandwich Generation
Caring for aging parents while raising children, managing a career, and holding a household together is one of the most depleting experiences women describe. Your needs matter in this too.
Thoughts That Often Delay Reaching Out
The reasons women delay support are real — addressed directly.
“Other people have it worse. I don’t have a good enough reason.”
Comparing your pain to someone else’s doesn’t reduce what you’re experiencing. You don’t need to justify your need for support. Struggling quietly while others appear to manage is not a sign that what you feel is invalid.
“I should be able to handle this on my own.”
The expectation that women should manage everything — independently and without complaint — is one of the things therapy often helps untangle. Asking for support is not a failure of strength. It is an exercise of it.
“I don’t have the time. Everyone else needs me right now.”
This is one of the most common reasons women give — and it is also one of the things that makes support most important. Care does not take you away from the people who need you. It helps you show up for them from a steadier place.
“I feel guilty spending money on myself.”
Your wellbeing is not a luxury. It affects everyone around you. A free introductory call costs nothing and carries no commitment — it’s simply a conversation to understand your options and what care might look like for you.
“I don’t want to be a burden or seem dramatic.”
There is nothing dramatic about seeking support for what you’re carrying. Our clinicians are experienced in working with women who minimize their own experiences — that is a pattern therapy can gently, supportively address.
“I tried therapy before and it didn’t feel right.”
Fit matters enormously. A different clinician, a different approach, and a space that is genuinely built for your experience can feel meaningfully different from a previous attempt. We take matching seriously.
How It Works
A clear, low-barrier path from first contact to active care.
Request an Introductory Call
Tell us a little about what you’re experiencing using our secure contact form or by calling directly. This is an inquiry only — no clinical advice is provided and no relationship has begun.
Complete Registration & Forms
We review your information, collect required consents, and confirm your intake appointment. A clinical relationship has not yet started at this stage.
Intake Assessment Session
Your confirmed intake appointment is an assessment session — not therapy. Your clinician evaluates your needs and determines whether our services are the right fit for your situation.
Care Plan & Ongoing Support
Following your intake, your clinician builds a personalized care plan. Ongoing sessions begin only after you are formally accepted into care and choose to proceed.
What Sets Our Care Apart
Integrated System of Care
One coordinated team. Clinicians communicate with each other — with your consent — so you never need to repeat your story or manage multiple providers separately.
Expert, Regulated Clinicians
Services are delivered by regulated mental health clinicians — credentials are listed clearly during booking.
Personalized, Not Packaged
No cookie-cutter programs. Your goals, your pace, your plan — adapted as your needs change. Therapy that fits your life, not a predetermined schedule.
Private, Secure, PHIPA-Compliant
Fully encrypted and PHIPA-compliant. Your records, your identity, and your sessions are protected at every stage — with no access to anyone without your explicit consent.
Support That Fits Around Your Life — Not the Other Way Around
Virtual care means you access sessions from wherever you are — at home, during a lunch break, after the children are asleep. No commutes, no waiting rooms, no rearranging your entire day.
Virtual-first delivery across all of Ontario. In-person may be required for certain assessments — determined by your clinician and confirmed before you commit.
Practical, Private, and On Your Schedule
Fits Around Caregiving & Work
Morning, evening, or weekend availability — designed around the reality of a full life, not an idealized schedule.
Completely Private
No waiting rooms, no parking lots, no chance encounters. Your care is entirely your own.
From Your Own Space
Many women find it easier to open up from the comfort and safety of their own environment. Virtual care makes that possible.
Insurance & Extended Health
Services are private pay and not covered by OHIP. Many extended health benefit plans cover services delivered by regulated clinicians — please confirm coverage directly with your own insurer before starting. Receipts are provided after each session for reimbursement. Clients are responsible for confirming their own coverage.
You Don't Have to Explain Everything to Start.
You don’t need the right words. You don’t need to have figured out what’s wrong or how bad it is. The free introductory call is simply a conversation — a chance to ask questions, share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and understand what care could look like for you.
You’ve spent a long time looking after everyone else. This is fifteen minutes for you.
