What Toriven™ offers
One coordinated platform — many ways to support you
Families and individuals often navigate fragmented systems — separate therapists, long waitlists, and disconnected care. Toriven™ brings coordinated clinical support together in one place.
Built to close a gap Ontario families know firsthand.
At Toriven™, we set out to solve a problem too many Ontario families know firsthand: excellent mental health and developmental care that is fragmented, delayed, or simply out of reach for those who need it most.
We built a platform where psychologists, registered psychotherapists, social workers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, OCT-certified teachers, and IEP specialists work together — creating coordinated support rather than a collection of disconnected appointments.
This is not fragmented care stitched together. It is a coordinated ecosystem — built for the diverse rhythms of modern Ontario families, and guided by a single purpose: faster access to exceptional clinical support for every Ontarian, without compromise on quality.
Unified, Not Fragmented
Psychologists, registered psychotherapists, social workers, SLPs, OTs, OCT-certified teachers, and IEP specialists — all under one coordinated platform, not a referral chain.
Fast, Thoughtful Matching
We match individuals with the right clinician based on their needs, helping families access coordinated care more efficiently while maintaining clinical quality and fit.
Precision Over Generality
Evidence-based rigour shapes every insight. Care is tailored to the individual — never templated.
Accessible to All Ontarians
Exceptional care should not depend on where you live or how long you can wait. We are built to deliver faster access, faster reports, and coordinated clinical support — without compromising on quality.
Virtual-First Care
Why virtual care works.
Virtual-first is not a compromise — it is an intentional design decision that expands access, improves consistency, and lets clinicians meet clients in the environments where life actually happens.
In-Person When Clinically Determined
Virtual-first is the standard. Where direct observation or standardized testing requires it, your clinician will determine if in-person is needed — explained clearly before you book, with no surprises.
No geography, no waitlists
Whether you're in Toronto, Northern Ontario, or a rural community, you access the same expert clinical team — without travel, without delays.
Flexible scheduling that fits life
Work, school, family schedules — virtual care bends around your life, not the other way around. Evenings and flexible windows available.
Seamless multidisciplinary collaboration
When your OT, psychologist, and social worker are all on one platform, care coordination happens naturally — not through faxes and referrals.
PHIPA-compliant secure sessions
Designated virtual platforms are encrypted and PHIPA-compliant — protecting your personal health information at every touchpoint.
Written summaries you can act on
Families and individuals receive practical written recommendations shareable with schools, physicians, and other care providers.
Direction
Vision & Mission
Two statements that define where we are going and how we get there — held to account every day by the people we serve.
To become one of Ontario's most trusted virtual-first multidisciplinary care providers — making coordinated, accessible care available to every family, regardless of where they live.
Toriven™ envisions a future where long waitlists and fragmented care are no longer the default — where regulated clinicians, working together, reach families in every corner of the province.
To provide accessible, coordinated, multidisciplinary care — delivered by regulated clinicians, guided by evidence, and built around the real needs of Ontario families.
We bring together psychologists, psychological associates, registered psychotherapists, social workers, SLPs, OTs, OCT-certified teachers, and IEP specialists under one platform — so families get the right support, from the right clinician, without having to start over every time they need something different.
What Makes Us Different
How we deliver care.
Six operational commitments — not aspirational posters — that guide every clinical, operational, and technology decision we make.
Clinical Excellence
Every clinician at Toriven™ is regulated by their Ontario professional college — held to enforceable standards of practice, ethics, and continuing competence. Evidence guides every clinical decision.
Faster Connections, Less Waiting
Skip the months-long queues of traditional referral systems — matched with a clinician suited to your needs, as quickly as our intake process allows.
Multidisciplinary Care
Developmental, behavioural, mental health, communication, and educational needs addressed together — psychologists, registered psychotherapists, social workers, SLPs, OTs, and OCT-certified teachers working as one team, not in isolation.
Inclusive by Design
Tailored pathways for women, 2SLGBTQ+ Ontarians, neurodiverse individuals, veterans and first responders, newcomers, and caregivers — because representation in care is not optional.
Radical Transparency
Open, honest communication with clients, caregivers, and our team. Clear clinical scope. Transparent pricing. No surprises. This is how trust is built.
Accessibility Without Compromise
Exceptional care should never depend on where you live. Our virtual-first model helps connect individuals and families across Ontario with regulated clinicians through accessible, coordinated care.
Leadership
Management & Leadership Team
Our leadership team combines deep clinical expertise with operational excellence — building the systems, culture, and standards that make Toriven™ exceptional.
Amit spent more than two decades at the operational heart of healthcare systems across three countries — not observing the gaps in access and quality, but accountable for closing them.
In Iowa, he managed clinical quality improvement and access programs across 74 community health sites spanning rural health, mental health, behavioural health, hypertension, SDOH, and dental care. This was ground-level work: training physicians, redesigning clinical workflows, and moving population health outcomes at scale.
In Australia, he led health system integration initiatives across multiple hospital networks during one of the most complex periods in modern healthcare, including during the H1N1 outbreak. Back in Ontario, he served as VP Finance and CFO at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) during the COVID era, and subsequently as VP Finance and CFO at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHSC) — one of Ontario’s largest and most complex academic health systems.
Across all of it, he kept seeing the same challenge: families coordinating care across multiple clinicians without a shared record connecting them, parents repeating their child’s story to every new provider, and geography quietly determining the quality of care a family could access. Toriven™ was built to change that.

Serving clients across Ontario.
Virtual care means no geography is a barrier. We serve individuals and families in every region of the province — from major urban centres to remote and rural communities.
The Founding Story
Two Decades Improving Care Systems. Built to Close the Gap.
Across Iowa, Australia, Kingston, and Hamilton, Amit worked alongside dedicated clinicians, physicians, and health system leaders who were genuinely trying to deliver excellent care. And yet, in every system, the same challenge kept appearing: families coordinating care across multiple clinicians without a shared record connecting them, parents repeating their child’s story to every new provider, and geography quietly determining the quality of care a family could access.
Toriven™ was created to address exactly that — by bringing coordinated, multidisciplinary care together through a virtual-first model designed to make expert support accessible across Ontario.
One patient. One record. One coordinated team. That’s the founding principle of Toriven™ — and it informs every clinical, operational, and technology decision we make.
“The same gap kept appearing across three healthcare systems. Toriven exists to close it — by giving Ontario families one coordinated team, one shared record, and care that reaches every corner of the province.”
